Last year when Paul got into his accident, I remember the doctors. They came to us and they said that they believed Paul wouldn't live until the morning. 'You should prepare yourselves.' That's what they said. And I -- I mean how do you do that? Prepare?

There was a chapel in the hospital and I went there and I stayed there for four days and I prayed. I have never prayed like that in my life, not for anyone. I didn't even know if I believed in god. I just knew someone had to help me.

But this is what I want to tell you: If you are ever, ever, in a praying situation with him? Be specific. Include certain clauses. It's not enough to assume that if a person lives they'll be okay. 'Cause god has a wicked sense of humor. And even when he knows you mean more, he'll only give you exactly what you ask for.

Lafayette! [True Blood] by wicked_signs
This is actually my most recent icon. I just found it recently. And it is just so perfectly Lafayette from True Blood. I love his character so, so much and am so glad he didn't suffer the same fate as in the books. Couldn't get enough of him in season two. He's so badass and caring and I heart him.

Boomer and Chief [BSG] by fracturedshapes
I love the coloring and the cropping and the raw emotion. There's just something about those two and those scenes from early season two that are so heartbreaking, especially given what ended up being true. BSG is true fandom love.

Jack/Sawyer [Lost] by me!
Well I made the icon so I'll refrain from commenting on the aesthetics, but I just loved this cap, it's so visceral and angry and heated and they are both really pissed off and I love that they're looking in the same direction, and yum. The end.

I love this icon. I really have a thing for well-done text icons. The color, the font, etc. very nice. I intend to use this one for life-posts but rarely get around to doing so. Shame.

Claire [LOST] by navras_rheya
One of my many Claire and/or Emilie icons. I really love this one, I love the coloring and the squinty-eye and the blowy-hair and the blur/brown texture and that she looks really pretty/vulnerable despite all that, and I'm 99% sure that she's talking to Jack in this scene so I love that too.

Cameron [TSCC] by ana_jo
I think I only have a couple TSCC icons. The love the black and white and the overall composition of this. B&W is sometimes hard to make beautiful but this is beautiful. Not to mention that I adore this scene and all that it suggested, and seeing Derek being moved to tears by her dance. I have to say I pretty much shipped Derek/Cam before, but this scene definitely cemented that.
