I don't like this theory.


I'm thinking Sam's brain activity has everything to do with the ship's cylon repairs. I think he might be the ship's own version of a "hybrid" now.

The thought makes me pretty sad, actually.

I hope I'm wrong.

Ooooh, actually [livejournal.com profile] ack_attack had a similar theory that I like a bit better (although still not as much as my boy Sam STAYING Sam...): what if Sam's brain activity is related to the death of Tigh/Caprica's baby, like a resurrection or transference?

Yeah I don't like either of those theories. Mine included -- they both mean the Sam we know is essentially gone.

I'm not sure I'd be able to buy the "baby consciousness" thing because it's essentially a new life, it hasn't been taught to speak or do anything yet. Unless Tigh and Caprica's baby was supposed to be a reincarnation of the cylon god or... Daniel or something. (Which, if he is Starbuck's daddy, would be we-he-heeeird.)
