Oh man this is so pretty! [Cairo Time especially. WOW]
Such a clever idea for a picspam :)

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
I know isn't he pretty? (The scenery is nice too!)

Do you know, this was just going to be a PART of my whole picspam but I just gave up the rest and decided to do only this. Haha. So much for cleverness.

So pretty! I want to watch all of these movies. Also, I've been to the place in which the second picture from Paper Man was filmed. So weird!

I love Cairo Time. Alexander Siddig is so pretty and I think this film made Patricia Clarkson one of my favorite actresses. :D

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
I would highly recommend it!

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 05:49 am (UTC)(link)

Thanks, btw!

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
You gotta!

Thank you!

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 05:50 am (UTC)(link)
I know! I was just saying this to Dayl. So very handsome. She's excellent. You should see The Station Agent. It's got her and is another cute little quiet film.

[identity profile] comeundone.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! Unless they recreated it or something, but I definitely have a picture taken there. It's Montauk, New York. That's one of the motels in the area. It's basically a beach town, very small, at the tip of Long Island. It comes after the Hamptons!

[identity profile] hamarakissa.livejournal.com 2010-12-28 06:41 am (UTC)(link)
I have Winter's Bone on my Netflix and I'll have to put on a few others like Paper Man and Cairo Time. Stunning picspam! <3
theladyscribe: Etta Place and Butch Cassidy laughing. (kiss at the end of the rainbow)

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2010-12-29 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
I know not a lot of people have watched it. I loved it as well. It was so much different than I thought it was going to be. [Less tragic/heartbreaking.]

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2010-12-29 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you!

I would highly recommend them!

[identity profile] realproof.livejournal.com 2010-12-29 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
oh, btw have you seen The Vintner's Luck? I went over my movielist earlier, and thought that'd fit pretty well in here :)

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2010-12-29 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh no what's it about? Who's in it?

[identity profile] realproof.livejournal.com 2010-12-29 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
It's about a winemaker in 19th century France, who makes some 'deals' (not saying more, cause it would spoil things) to make better wine and make ends meet. It stars Jeremy Renier, Gaspard Uliel, Vera Farmiga and Keisha Castle-Hughes.

It's really pretty, especially the scenes between the male leads.
