So I had one of my rare flashes of brilliance this evening, and I realized that I don't think I've ever commented on any of your fic. I've meant to do so any number of times, but you know how that goes... To keep this to a manageable length, I'll say that I really love your Alex fic. (Character bias: this from someone who reads nearly any Alex fic she can get her hands on, and spends far too many spare moments writing it as well.) You do such a good job of bringing to life a dark and damaged Alex who's nonetheless determined to survive (if only because it's all she knows). You always manage to send chills down my spine, in the best way possible.

Actually, while I'm on the subject, and if I'm not being too forward: may I friend, for updates, etc.? I feel like I'd be better at giving you the feedback you deserve if I had that reminder on my friends page - and you very much deserve it.
