and it's one, two, three, what are we fighting for? (don't ask me I don't give a damn)
→ Hello my fellow United Statesmen! There's a PBS Poll about whether or not you think Palin is qualified to serve as Vice President. HERE.
→ Completely unrelated. Michael Moore's Slacker Uprising is available for download and streaming here. I'm in the middle of it and it and I'm not sure what to make of it. I never been a fan of Michael Moore's tactics as a filmmaker and activist, but I do feel that many of the things he says are important to hear. So, there's that.
The best bit so far was an interview with a young woman on the street who said that anyone who is against the commander in chief should be sent out of the country and blown up. Enlightening.
→ Confession? I have been kind of avoid-y when it comes to the news about the election. Everything just makes me depressed and scared for our future. I already know who I'm voting for. I may watch debates, but for the most part I am trying to ignore most everything else. I do appreciate those of you who link to (and summarize, especially that!) articles of interest because I like to stay informed to a degree, but for the most part I would just as soon sleep until it's all over.
→ So now that I'm talking about this, and it may very well be one of the last times until election day, I am obligated to ask everyone who hasn't, to register to vote. Right over here. I know some of you haven't, and I gotta ask you to please reconsider. It really is so important. There's not much more time.
