she names them all herself.

→ I'm happy I wrote fic, but I'm so out of practice it's not funny. I haven't decided yet whether I really like it or whether it'll be something I'll never want to look at again after today. I tried to keep with the "it's just comment fic" mentality and not think about it too much. But I also feel like I rushed things to keep it short. I'm actually going to try to write another one before the day is up. There are so many prompts on that list I would have loved to write, but having to force it is never fun.

→ Like everyone else, FNL made me cry this week. Oh, show. That said, I do have some concerns. Is this show going to be the ER of awesome realistic/small town/high school/football shows? (Yeah I'm pretty sure that's a genre all its own.) I do love it, but next season are we going to be stuck with Julie and JD McCoy? Because I'm pretty damn sure everyone else is a senior. Please, please tell me that's not how this is going to go down.

That last shot of Smash was beautiful and perfect. I can't think of a better sendoff.
*sniffle*

→ I wanted to rec this Big Love video that [livejournal.com profile] amathela recced to me a while back. It's called They and is by [livejournal.com profile] xandra_ptv and it's just fantastic. If you've ever watched this show or even ever heard of it, you should check it out. It's perfect and lighthearted and serious and amazing. Lately it's probably been one of my most-watched vids from my favorite fan vids folder. And have I mentioned that I can't wait for this show to come back? Because I really can't.

I always thought that Julie and Matt were in the same class. In the first season it's mentioned that Julie is a sophomore and they call him a sophomore, too. Not sure that helps you cause that would mean she might be going, too.

Hmm, for some reason I though she was a freshman in season 1. Of course, I thought Lyla and Tim were both seniors in season 1 too. So confusing!

It is very confusing, mostly because TPTB made it so and evaded the labelling with a lot of the characters but in the case of Matt and Julie they actually made it canon.

They SO implied that Lyla was a senior first season along with Jason. And now she's still in school? I could have seen how Riggins might have been behind, or Tyra, but Lyla? Ahahahahah. Yeah, right.

What percentage of kids actually go AWAY to college though? I think it'd be more unrealistic to have them ALL go off somewhere then have them all stay or go to a college 'close to home' ya know? We'll see!

Aww Smash!!
I agree that really was the perfect sendoff. I will miss his character though! :(
And dude no ER-FNL for me either please! Especially not if they start killing people off like that poor Dr. Pratt (was that his name?)

also? i'm going to go read your fic right now! :D

Yeah I'm not going to be happy if that's how things turn out but even if it does it'll have been a great first few seasons.
