Totally my childhood! Oooh, Beverly Hills, Muppet babies, chipmunk, Bobby's world, Doug, Donald Duck... and many more, oh!

*tears in eyes*

*awww*

I know!

omg, you're using your jears icon.

[identity profile] caffrey.livejournal.com 2007-05-05 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I KNOW ALL THOSE SHOWS! I USED TO WATCH THEEEEEEEEEEM! ;_______;

Shows back then were AWESOME. Shows for younger people now are kinda sucky.

Re: omg, you're using your jears icon.

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-05 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Agreed!

[identity profile] rogue-lane.livejournal.com 2007-05-05 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
My mother wouldn't let me watch it. She didn't let me watch "The Simpsons" either... but damn I love reruns on Sony, now I see them both, we're on Season 3 here.

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-05 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL What show are you referring to? I was never allowed to watch the simpsons either!

[identity profile] rogue-lane.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
902010, I could watch all the others. But she didn't let me see Beverly Hills, she did watch it though.

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 10:32 am (UTC)(link)
I never realy watched it until the later years either. I had a bunch of friends who watched it though. Pretty cheesy. Hahhaa. We didn't miss much!

That's awesome! Lots o' memories there! (But what's scary is how many of the shows in this thing were after my "time!" *shuffles off to the retirement home* ;) )

♥!

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Aw! Hahaha Poor Ais! I think they spent a little too much time on Power Rangers. I never really watched that show. But other than that I remember them all! Scary!

[identity profile] thatmarcusguy.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
lol I remember about half of those...I think some of the ones I don't remember would've been before my time, and others probably weren't on free-to-air TV here.

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 10:24 am (UTC)(link)
Shame.

[identity profile] mistojen.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
omg ALEX MACK! I totally forgot that show and I was so in love with it! ...I wanted to BE Alex Mack. Like whoa. You don't even know lol

90210 & Power Rangers were the only shows on that thing that I didn't watch, like religiously haha Nice find, KC!!! *feels all old and nostalgic now*

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 10:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah I never really watched Power Rangers either and I didn't watch 90210 until the later years.

You don't know how stupidly giddy I got seeing Tommy and Kimberly. And I was SINGING THE THEME SONGS to HALF of these. And HEY DUDE! *sighs* Why does it seem like programming for us as children was a hundred times better than the stuff they put out today?

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 10:25 am (UTC)(link)
Hhaha yeah, I remember Hey Dude. I also really loved Salute Your Shorts. Good stuff!

[identity profile] two-five.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
WOW! SO many good memories!
I remember watching everyone of those shows!! :D
Thanks for posting that. ;)

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 10:25 am (UTC)(link)
:D It made me feel so nostalgic!

[identity profile] missy42.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 08:54 am (UTC)(link)
I remember alla those shows. What I am confused about is who picked the music for that. Augustana's Boston? For re-living 80's cartoons and sitcoms? Really? I thought the last minute of it was more appropriate as far as musical montage goes. Oh, and they left out Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers. Oh, and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I mean c'mon! It's the Fresh Prince!

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 10:26 am (UTC)(link)
Hahaha, well I think it's like, a song about returning to your roots, so it does make sense in that way!

But yeah, The Fresh Prince totally could have been included, even Roseanne or The Wonder Years. There's a lot more they could have included. But it was pretty great anyway!

Oh, nostalgia!

[identity profile] search4perfect.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 05:24 pm (UTC)(link)
ahhhh I love the ending!

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
That was pretty awesome!

[identity profile] ajrbasketcase.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Dude, as soon as I saw Are You Afraid Of The Dark? I thought, Clarissa's next! Surely! So then I squeed when she was. Cause they were both on Snick (with Roundhouse, highly underrated, imho), which I never missed, so I tend to think of them together.

and wtf? Where's You Can't Do That On Television????

[identity profile] crickets.livejournal.com 2007-05-06 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Holy crap you are SO RIGHT. You can't do that on television SO NEEDS TO BE THERE.

*sigh*

Good times.

I loved Clarissa.
