Okay, despite having genuine affection for both of those actors, I can see that this is probably very silly and I could do without the laugh track. But I'm posting it because it sort of, kind of, reminds me of Who's the Boss. I don't exactly remember why Tony lived with Angela in the first place. Anyone care to enlighten me?

PS: I'll get to answering that meme sometime this afternoon.

i feel like melissa still looks 22, and so having her be parent to children who don't look that much younger than her throws me, even though i know she is of the appropriate age for such things.

She actually plays their younger cool aunt, I'm pretty sure.

ETA: Don't know about younger cool aunt, but she's their aunt and has to take care of them because their mother goes to jail.

Tony was her housekeeper. It was that 80s-trend switcheroo where the woman was the workaholic and the man was the one who ruled the home. I don't remember if there was more to it like some backstory of why he was a housekeeper or anything.

When trying to remember today I kept thinking he was just their cook, haha.

I also remembered that Mona used to crack me up, lol.

Ooh, I know! I know!

Angela was looking for a housekeeper and someone to look after Jonathan. Mona met Tony in the lobby of an apartment building. He wanted to get Samantha out of Brooklyn and Mona convinced him to come over and cook dinner and get Angela to hire him.

"Mother, why is there a man in my kitchen?"

I love that show! Can you tell? :D

Haha, I can totally hear her saying that. She was AWESOME in Ugly Betty by the way. Too bad they didn't use her character more. But whenever she was there it was awesome and memorable.

Thank you! That makes more sense now.

I actually think I knew that you love this show, haha. I remember reading a fic you wrote for it once! It was good!

I look at MJH, and I still see Clarissa. Just saying.

Holy crap that was Joey Lawrence?? He's unrecognizable without his hair. Thank god they identified him, or I never would have known.

I don't know, it seems awfully generic to me. The announcer sounded like he was trying way too hard to sell this and make it sound sort-of original. I have serious doubts that it will last.

Well hey I don't know, it's an abc family show and they seem to nurture their shows right? They have stuff on that channel that nobody I know has ever heard of let alone watched, lol.
