I said I'd never do one of those massive friend cuts. I never said it to anyone but myself, of course. It was a personal thing.
Apparently, times change.
I also said I'd never make one of those cheesy announcements about it, because it's all kinds of dramatic and totally unecessary. But thanks to my ever-so-serious moood, and livejournal's oh-so-fun de-friending notifications, I'm doing that too.
Here's the thing. It's 2 AM and I haven't fully checked my flist in at least two weeks. If not more. I had 138 people on my flist.
Yeah.
I simply felt that my flist was becoming entirely unmanageable and I wasn't being fair to you guys. And I suppose that happens. Never thought it'd happen here, but it did. For a few reasons. Over the past 7 months or so I've aquired a few new fandoms, Supernatural for one, I became active in the Lost fanfic community, etc. People started to add up so quickly I couldn't keep track.
*cue dramatic music*
Oh, this ever-revolving door. It never stops.
So I did a cut.
And in my sleep-deprived state, with all those little clicky boxes and blue and green arrows, I may have cut some people I shouldn't have. I may have cut my own wife, for all I know.
So here's the thing. If you think I've made a disasterous mistake in cutting you, or maybe I just friended you yesterday and I forgot about it already - entirely possible - please just leave me a comment here and I'll friend you back. Comments are screened.
I'm not going to ask you to take me off your flist if I've defriended you. That's not what this post is for. That's just mean. I'm not like that.
God, I feel like such a drama queen. Somebody remind me never to do this again.

;) I got defriended the other day but never got a notice about it; she just told me she was defriending me then, blammo, she's off my flist. So I had to figure out how to defriend her back (awww, Aislynn's first defriending... ;) ) and that was it. But I never did get notified about it. :S
