Sweet Charity: You Know You Want Me!

Sweet Charity, for those of you who don't know, and I'm guessing some of you don't based on fandom representation, is an auction (running twice annually) in which fan artists can auction themselves off for charity. Fics, vids, graphics, hand-made items, etc.

Last time I was a bidder, and I won a fic from namegoeshere.

*holds out hand* ;)

This time, I'm a ho! Oh yeah!

I am offering the following to three lucky (crazy?) bidders:

I will write one fic, at minimum of 1,500 words, for the winning bidders. Slash, het, and gen, and even incest (but not femmeslash simply because I've never written it before). I prefer drama, angst, and dark themes. Will write anything from G-R for the winners. (If you are very very convincing, and come bearing virtual chocolates, you might even be able to squeeze an NC-17 out of me.)

There are certain characters I am not comfortable writing, and some preferred, though I will write anybody so long as they are not on my "won't write" list, so check the lists below.

Sweet Charity


I got asked this over at LVI. Why won't I write the characters that I won't write on Lost? (Gosh, that was redundantly put.)

Basically, for LOST and all other fandoms, any characters I don't feel "comfortable" writing are generally characters which do not inspire me at all. I find them dull or one-dimensional, etc. and I have no desire to explore their characters outside of what I see on the screen. Sometimes, it's another reason. For example, I don't feel comfortable writing Hurley simply because he's funny and light. I don't do funny and light. Granted I haven't really tried that hard, lucky for you all!

go you!!! I had heard about sweet charity from the SPN peeps, and I was almost wondering if it was for them only!

Yeah that's what I was saying about the fandom representation. SPN heavily outweighs all the rest.

You can still sign up to be a ho, until the 8th I think?

Anyway it should be fun. I'll be stoked if I raise a dollar for the charity. Hahaha.
