entourage, the end

So I just got done watching the series finale of Entourage. I don't know many of you who watch it, but I am feeling surprisingly bereft now that it is over. It's still so strange to me how much I ended up loving that show, despite its down moments. (And it did have them!) No spoilers here, just thought watching the end of an "era" go by merited some kind of entry. I will definitely miss it. And they couldn't have played a better song for the final scene.

Going to California, Led Zeppelin

I do hope that they end up making the movie they want to make. But even if they don't? That would probably be okay too.

*sniffle*

I think the setup for the movie was great so I hope they do it.

I also like that they FINALLY NAMED HER.

They could definitely pull it off.

The way they worked her name into the show when it was first used was really good. Because it was almost sacred, and they gave the line to her guest-star boyfriend. OUCH. (And still subtle.)

I'm feeling sad after I've just had a resurgence of love for it. I can't believe its finally over. Well except for the movie of course...

Besides the quick wedding which I'm still wtfing over, I enjoyed the finale a lot so at least I'm happy with that.

I too was very sad. These guys. The characters were so familiar, and well-drawn. I will miss them very much!

The quickie wedding was a bit out there, but then they did only have 8 episodes to wrap things up so I will forgive them for that. I really enjoyed it a lot too. Which is more than I can say for some series finales!

I hope they have a movie because I'm a little o_O about their individual "endings."

p.s. I hated Scott last season but I ended up liking him and was kinda sad that he chose to stay behind (I understand why but I thought he did enough to be considered part of the family).

I liked that they ended it with everyone happy and in a good place. Vincent never did have much direction other than making movies, so his seems a little last-minute-thrown-together. But other than that, I was happy. I do love Dana Gordon, but I have always loved Melissa (Mrs. Ari!) And I'm so glad that Ari and Lloyd had a final scene together. I would have been less happy with the finale if they split up the group and had it end on a cliffhanger or with some of them unhappy. This is, after all, a comedy, and it wouldn't make sense to end it on a down note. I was totally okay with Scott staying behind, he hadn't earned his keep yet IMO, and some of his shenanigans last season were definitely not okay. But maybe if they do the movie they will bring him back into the fold.

Maybe, I'm just sad that for all their progress over the years, Drama and Turtle are back in the same role: still wingmen, richer, more experienced but still supporting actors and not stars of their own stories.

I love Dana and I'm glad that they didn't fallback to screaming bitch when she and Ari talked. And yes, I love Mrs. Ari. If the movie's a go, more Jonah!

I think I'm a little underwhelmed over Vince's story and icked out by Vince, Terence & Melinda. I lvoe Sloane so it kinda sucks.
