I am so glad I watched it. I think I remember I decided to watch it just because I loved the idea of this contained murder mystery that was set out from the start to be 13 episodes. The back half was SO TIGHT and perfect because of it. There needs to be more mini-series like this on network TV. For sure.

I've been meaning to rewatch myself for a long time. (Maybe now I'm caught up with TVD?) Maybe it'll kickstart my muse to finish off a "What if Wakefield really did die in 2001?" fic that's been sat on my laptop for about a year.
