Last week I had this weird thing happen where I remembered how awesome Harper's Island turned out to be:

I kind of want to do a re-watch, and I do have the DVDs.

I am so glad I watched it. I think I remember I decided to watch it just because I loved the idea of this contained murder mystery that was set out from the start to be 13 episodes. The back half was SO TIGHT and perfect because of it. There needs to be more mini-series like this on network TV. For sure.
