krickets: (DAISIES. i can feel you)

A post, followed by vanilla wafers! (Not for you, but for me!)

[livejournal.com profile] kiki_miserychic posted this really adorable video of Ellen and Portia's wedding right here. So lovely. I hope my mom got to see that. She loves Ellen.

→ I think... I think... I may actually be close to writing something soon. I've been reading some fic over the past few days, and it's been giving me lots of motivation. I hadn't been doing much reading lately. Maybe that was my problem all along!

→ I love the hell out of Joshua Jackson. (I was always a Pacey girl.) But I don't know if I can bring myself to watch The Fringe. I mean, I just don't think it's my kind of thing and I watch too much frakking television anyway. Who knows, I may change my mind.

→ However, I did watch True Blood and really liked it! I mean there were parts that I wasn't in love with, but the parts that I did like really made up for it. I'm anxious to see the rest of the season. Also? Speaking of HBO shows, I'm really excited that Entourage is back. But after rewatching all of season 1 and half of season 2 with [livejournal.com profile] dayln03 I realize now that maybe it's not as good as it used to be. This makes me sad. But I will still watch!

→ I pre-ordered the Pushing Daisies DVDs today (I'd been putting it off) and I am so excited for that show to come back I can hardly stand it. It makes me feel warm and happy and giddy and nostalgic and sad and everything. (I'm also really excited for Friday Night Lights to start back up, even though I'm afraid they're gonna frak it up this time around.)

→ I think I may drop out of [livejournal.com profile] bsg_lims. It's not the pressure or the fear that I won't do well. (I never thought I'd get this far, really.) But I honestly hate having to vote for my least favorite icons and give reasons why. It's actually painful. I spend far too much time thinking about what to vote and why and how to word it so I don't hurt anyone's feelings... and it kind of just makes me feel like a big douchebag. And feeling like a douche bag is not exactly on my list of fun things to do.

→ Things at the library are going really well. It's been busy, but I'm enjoying the challenges and I really enjoy helping people. Their gratitude is so rewarding. The only thing I don't enjoy is the fact that it's the third week and people are still coming to me baffled that we don't own and won't lend out textbooks. But I'm hoping I won't have to answer those types of questions for very much longer.

Okay, so that video totally made me cry. Everything makes me cry, but still. Wow. They looked so happy. I'm so happy for them.

I can't wait for Pushing Daisies either. I'm looking forward to it the most of all of my shows, that's for sure.

Hahah, aw. They do look very happy.

There is just something about Pushing Daisies. I just love every second of it. My parents watch it with me too, which is funny. They both love it and both deny it!

Right? I mean, I have no problems seeing which are worst, but "it's ugly" isn't very constructive..

I mean sometimes I actually do find it hard to pick out three "bad" icons. Especially for the right reasons. It makes me crazy!

The main character/actor in Pushing Daisies is just delectable. Those brown eyes! That smoky voice! Or at least I really liked him with a British accent and utterly in love in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. *is dorktastic*

How have you been lately? Busy, by the sounds of it.

I have that movie downloaded to watch and I also am going to watch The Fall which he looks really good in. He's going to be in a movie with Sarah Michelle Gellar - I think it comes out in January. Lee Pace is very easy to love. But I also really love Chuck and Olive and Emerson and Digby and everybody!

I loved the dark and humor of True Blood, I'm not that big a fan of Anna's but it's still good.

WATCH FRINGE, I liked it, I don't like the "you have homework" like most of JJ's shows..but Joshua (I really didn't wantch Dawson's but I too was a Pacey girl) is so good and has matured very very nicely..plus it's sort of based in Boston..EXTRA POINTS!!

Pushing Daisies..CAN. NOT. WAIT!

I really like Tara and Sam actually. I don't mind Anna but it's hard to take her with all that blonde! But I'm excited about what it could be. The lady who plays her grandmother? I don't know who she is but I know I've seen her in a ton of stuff and I know that she's fabulous. This will be interesting, for sure.

i am resisting Fringe still. But I may give in in a couple of weeks.

ME either!

Aww that video of Ellen and Portia is so cute *clutches heart*. I love Ellen. Yay for them haha

Entourage! I gotta watch more! Fo sho! And Pushing Daisies! October 1st, be there or be square.

I agree about bsg_lims. I think the icon making part of it is fun - I think it's nice to be challenged to make icons out of pictures that I'd probably never choose on my own. But i really don't like the voting process either. I think that lots of times it is really hard to pick one and say "That's the worst."

agree and agree and agree.
