→ Adama killed me in this ep at every turn. The scene with him and Kara was just painful. The scene with him and Roslin was even moreso. And the final scene especially. *clutches heart* I love him. He never lets me down. He's always been this "do what you have to do" hard-nosed military leader. But at the core he's also always been a cuddly bear who thinks with his heart. (Like in Home when he listens to Dee and reunites the fleet.)

→ That scene at the beginning between Starbuck and Roslin was so amazing. OMG! And the fact that Roslin said barely a word was blissfully frustrating. The tension was incredible.

→ Speaking of Roslin. I am so afraid of where they're taking her. She seems so much more cut off, so much more... heartless and determined than she ever has. And Kara was right. She believed Roslin and risked her life, her job, everything, based on a vision Roslin had when hopped up on Chamalla. I want to believe that she misfired on purpose. But I don't know if I do. And that scares me!

→ Adama/Roslin. Holy crap! After seeing that scene I said, Boom! Boom! Hey hit each other just like Starbuck and Apollo do! Cause, damn, that hurt. I loved the "you can stay in the room but get out of my head" line. Oh, Adama. And as bitchy as she's been, I couldn't help but feel for Roslin at the end there. When, on top of everything her hair started coming out. Gah!

→ Speaking of those two, what is it going to do to them when Roslin finds out that Adama let Kara go on a mission to find Earth? Might this break their strong alliance for good?

→ The scene with Lee and Kara felt very much like a final goodbye. I seriously doubt that will happen. But if it did, this would be a nice send off for them. It was sweet and free of all the games they've always played with one another. It struck me that they both knew that it could have very well been the last time and acted accordingly. It means a lot that Apollo tells her he believes her I think. It draws lines to where he's going to be standing and where the Quorum of 12 will be standing. If he's going to be a part of it, he (and Zarek) will certainly lead the others.

→ Lee's party. Oh, Racetrack, you rock! It was good to see all those guys in there. Hotdog! Even Anders was in there. And there was some serious Helo/Lee subtext at the sweetheart bit. Sara said she thought Helo was gonna smack Lee's butt. Hahaha.

→ That tiny scene with Apollo alone in the ready room was such a heart wrenching little reminder of how things used to be. I loved that.

→ I also loved his sendoff. That was very nice. Particularly the touching/sweet moment with Dee. Say what you will about her, but I have always liked her.

→ Tory/Baltar? OMG!WTF?BBQ? Buzzah!?

→ Baltar & Baltar = WIN.

→ I knew that Helo wouldn't take her to be airlocked. There is no way he would have any part in that even if she were a cylon. I mean, they are BFFs, ya'll! Also? Hello! Cylon wife? Hello, guy who stopped a cylon genocide? Yeah.

→ New!Six rocks. As does the whole thing with taking down Cavil, Simon and Doral. I am positive they're going to box them (if they haven't already.)

→ We didn't get any Baltar/Six interaction in this ep. Which was okay. I mean there's always Baltar's non-corporeal twin. But... I'm intrigued as to whether or not this will become a trend.

Theory #1: I've been thinking this for a while, but I think that there's a 13th cylon. There's a 13th lost colony. There's the cylon god, which if you disregard the "one or the other" implications, equals 13 coupled with the 12 Lords of Kobol. So my big theory is that there's not one, but two missing cylons.

Theory #2: Out of the four of the final that have been revealed, if any of them turn against the fleet, my money is on Tory and/or Chief. I hate to say that about Chief because I luff him, but I just have this feeling. *sadface*

Theory #3: I started thinking this about 3 weeks ago I suppose - that head!six, head!baltar, and dream!leoben are all very real, but also are all simply different manifestations of the "one true" cylon god. And that they appear differently for different people, and for different reasons. Like the First on Buffy!

Theory #4: When Warren watched the season three finale just before the premiere, I re-watched it with him and ever since seeing it again I've been convinced that one of the final cylons is Roslin. But she's my only theory. And I'm convinced that it's not Starbuck.

I've had the same 13th Cylon theory as you, and my bet is Starbuck, though I don't think she's the traditional sort of Cylon at all if so.

Theory #3 - Oh! Nice one! I've thought - in the case of Gaius and Six - that their consciousnesses somehow mixed during the initial blast in the miniseries. When Six's consciousness was sent to download, maybe part of it clung to Baltar while part of his went with her. Given this new visit from himself, though, as well as Kara's reaction to the Leoben in her visions, I'm more inclined to go with your theory. ;)

Theory #4 - Yeah, my mind also keeps going to Roslin as the last cylon. When I consider everyone, she's the only one that really sticks. I also agree on it not being Starbuck.

I've thought that the Final Five might have been created by the original creator as he/she started to realize that the cylons would evolve too far and try to take over. The Final Five are there to protect the human race from their own kind, and are a step up from the other Skin Jobs in terms of humanity. *shrugs*

I've wondered... if there are multiple copies of the cylons, where are the copies of the Final Five? Were copies not made of these select few? And we know Numbers 1 through 6 and 8, but who's 7?

You know if there is a 13th then I wouldn't reject the idea of Starbuck being it because it's not as predictable as Starbuck as the twelfth. (Which is my main reason I don't think she's the twelfth! Because it's too dang predictable!) But if there is a thirteenth, I could see maybe it being Starbuck based on the unpredictability of there being a 13th in the first place. Does that even make sense? LOL.

I enjoyed the episode, especially the Kara&Lee (I agree it felt like a Goodbye) and Adama&Roslin scenes but I wasn't thrilled. I hope I'm going to appreciate next week better.

I love your speculation about the head!people. 4.01 made be believe that Head!Six was truly a manifestation of God as I believe she was responsible for curing the little boy. I also read speculations that she is the final cylon. That would be interesting too...

LOL Yeah, especially since the 13th would represent Earth? And she keeps talking about how she's felt like she's been there before, etcs. :)

I have long since denied the notion that there is some corporeal version of head!six out there. I guess the idea of what she is just festered long enough. I don't even usually theorize - I just got these ideas in my head pretty randomly. If I am right about any of them, I will freak. Haha.

One of the final 5... ? Cause then 9, 10, 11, 12 and 7 are missing.

I'm the same way with theories; I go with whatever random thought pops into my head.

I know 7 is one of the Five, but it just seems so odd in the placement. My OCD nature wonders why the ever so important sleeper agents weren't created in order of mission statement... unless 7's mission is different than 9 through 12's, and is already being carried out. And, since there are other copies of 8, why aren't there any of 7?

Just my mind thinking things to literally. LOL

I thought theory #3 was all but confirmed.

My friend has a theory that Doc Cottle is the final Cylon, which I now fully subscribe to. I will elaborate on this when more coherent.

ALSO, I think that if there is a #13, it is absolutely Starbuck. My pet theory is that she's the real first hybrid child and that her mysterious missing father is a Cylon. Possibly Tigh. :D

Er, not unless you count past-canon spoilers? I'm pretty sure it's been said/heavily implied in the previous seasons.

I know dream!leoben there was a canon suggestion that he is not leoben but not with six. Anyway, I've never heard that theory before when applying it to head!six as well. Should be interesting to see how that plays out.

And that they appear differently for different people, and for different reasons. Like the First on Buffy!

Randomly, that made me laugh. Yet, I don't entirely disagree! At the very least I think they are all connected.

Well, Six said outright that she was an angel from God once, and it seems logical that the head!entities are all the same sort of thing. I think they must be, anyway.

EXACTLY! But I'm a little bit hurt that Kara believed that he would take her to be airlocked. She should have had more trust in her best friend, right?
