001. Re: Sweet Charity. "John in Hell" is completed and waiting for beta, "Jo goes home" is on the way, and "Anders and Apollo get drunk and touch each other's special parts" has been given an extended deadline. Not because I asked for one, but the bidder is a sweetheart and offered it up anyway. Thank you! I'll take it.

JiH has been nearly complete for a long time now, I've just been putting it off. I have to admit, it's not something I ever would have written, and it was, at times, hard to write. But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Now we just gotta see what [livejournal.com profile] kmousie, otherwise known as "the beta that fell from heaven," thinks of it.

(Also, I really really will finish that Sawyer/Alex verse! I promise!)

002. I'm on a small vidding hiatus at the moment, just until I can get my wits about me, handle our incoming out-of-towners, finish up these fics, as well as the icon requests over at [livejournal.com profile] everydamnthing. So until the first. How sad is that, though? A week without opening Vegas equals a hiatus? My reality does not resemble your reality. Anyway, school doesn't start again until the 7th and thus my job at the library, so I'm hoping to get some vidding done in that week, but I have so many projects I want to work on that I have no idea where I'll start.

003. I have a few fic recs for you guys!
a. A Theory of Relativity by [livejournal.com profile] la_belle_dame, bsg, kara/leoben, pg13
A really atmospheric Earth!fic about our favorite wrong!dirty!bad!cylon/human pairing. I don't know how to explain this fic. There's this kind of quiet domesticity to it, but also this kind of grey, murky, groggy-type feeling to it, which I love. Plus, Leoben gets spine action. Oh, yes.
b. untitled by [livejournal.com profile] gregoria44, pick-a-fandom, pick-a-pairing, pg
This is a pick your own fandom/pairing teeny weeny drabble that packs a huge punch. It sounds a little different (strange, odd, peculiar), and it is, but it's also brilliant... like Mr. Bean. (Because he doesn't talk so anyone of any language can understand his act? Get it?)
c. untitled by [livejournal.com profile] eponine119, lost, alex/richard, pg-ish
I gave her the pairing and the word "green" and she gave me a really beautiful inspired little drabble.
d. Once Out of Nature by [livejournal.com profile] cynthia_arrow, bsg, tigh, pg13
In which she tells the beautiful, heart-wrenching tale of life after the fleet finds earth and how Tigh, and others, are remembered by those who knew him, and some who didn't. So beautiful it actually made me cry in parts. I didn't expect it, and I love her for writing things like this. Even if you don't love Tigh, you'll love this piece I guarantee you.

004. I had something else, but Ley just called and now I can't remember what it was. Hope everyone's had a great holiday!
