i am a fic-inspiring wretch!

Have you crazy kiddos been over to lostsquee lately? They're having a comment fic battle over there until the end of the month and there are a shitload of prompts and a bunch of great fic being written for them! Right over here!

One of my favorites so far is you're not ulysses by the poetic, lovely and heroic falseeeyelashes. It's Alex/Richard heavy emphasis on Richard and she creates this entire mythology around him tracing through history and it's just beautiful beyond anything I could ever hope to describe. In short, go read it right-frakking-now, ya got it?

I also have to mention this incredibly bittersweet Jack/Marc fic written by slybrunette called it's not goodbye so much as see you later. In case you don't remember, Marc was Jack's adorable red-headed childhood bff.

Well, clearly, someone [slybrunette] was inspired by my wickedness because she wrote awesome motorcycle-road-trip Mark/Owen Grey's Anatomy fic. (I may have had prior knowledge of this venture.) And it's epic. It's like 6500 words of epic. And I think I'm going to have her babies. Or maybe force her to have mine. I haven't decided yet.

This is a story about losing something you never meant to have in the first place, and then realizing that you needed it more than you knew.
