I love the theme of the rain here. It ties everything together so neatly and beautifully (I can't help it -- I like weather being mentioned in fic, it's this whole atmospheric thing). The interaction between these two is awesome as well, and feels so very real, especially with the last two lines, the way it ends in a question, a bit unfinished you know?
