I am having a stronger reaction to the looming finale than I ever anticipated. I am seeing so many Lost posts on my flist, filled with love and sadness and excitement and dread and I am more convinced than ever that Lost has one of the best fandoms ever -- at least, my [our] little corner of it anyway. And I am ever so grateful for that and the years of fun, new friends turned old friends, deep thought, bonding over mutual disappointment, gorgeous art, amazing vids and fic -- and the crack!ships turned "dead serious" ships. Those, I will never ever forget.

Whether or not I was loving the show or hating it, I was always loving you guys. And somehow, the end of the show feels like the beginning of the end of that. And I know that doesn't have to be true, but it's still a depressing thought.

I think the thing I'm going to miss the most, and for all of the aforementioned reasons, is living in this fandom while the show was still alive.

So, to that:
Goodbye, Lost! I hope all my friends still want to come and play in your playground from time to time!
