Compared to alot of other amature editor crap that's out there I like this. I like the fact you shortened the scenes by cutting out frames. I like the addition of crushing your black levels and adding a little saturation, possibly a hint of blue? Rather than staying with the beat, (biggest mistake of amature editors) you found the rythem and it works.


In regards to your comment about doing this in one night, I love my allnighters when I have projects due. Two weeks ago I spent 72 hours no sleep to get a project out asap for a client. mmmmmm editing fun!

Wow that's a wonderful compliment!

Regarding the colors and such, I used brightness/cotrast, curves, and saturation, plus used a blue-colored (varying shades) light texture over it as well. Set to screen.

Honestly I just started watching the series. As soon as I saw the miniseries I knew I wanted to do a Kara vid. So I had been making mental notes and had already picked the song. (Which was edited down from about 4 minutes or so.) So while I watched seasons 1&2 I was kind of making mental notes aboutwhat scenes to you and had a few written down specifically. So I kinda of had it in my head that way when I started working on it. I'm really really pleased with how it came out. I think when you get the buzz and you just sit down and you edit and the ideas keep coming and coming and everything falls together so nicely you just have to keep working straight on through! Hahaha. It worked out! Magic. Haha.
