Sometimes Overheard in NY has little perplexing gems like this one:

Furious teenage girl to boyfriend: Who's the cantaloupe now, motherfucker?

Sometimes it makes you laugh and sometimes it makes you fear for humanity, lol.

I don't know but it's awesome.

It reminds me of this episode of Saved by the Bell, where Zach and Slater (for some reason) trick Mr. Belding into thinking that Kelly and Screech (I KNOW!) are going to run away and get married. (What?)

So Mr. Belding tries to talk Screech out of it, but it's one of those conversations where they're both talking about different things but neither of them realizes it. And at one point, Mr. Belding says, "But Screech, you can't elope!"

And Screech says, "Who are you calling a cantaloupe you melon head!?!?"
