Yeah I guess I have not found Alaric's backstory to be all that interesting which is why some of those episodes were a yawn for me. The character, I don't so much hate her as I find her uninteresting. I don't get her deal -- and I guess there's time for that, but if it's all the same, I'd really rather not, lol.
That was such a Damon thing to do, knowing that he couldn't break her compulsion no matter what, he really had no other choice I guess. But the decision was so quick. It was shocking.
