Hee! Saw this the other week as part of Film Night, and it did make me chuckle.

I was in a room of people from a generation which barely understands what Back to the Future was, but they all laughed anyway. Phew!

I watched it recently as well. And I think two weekends ago or something Back to the Future III was on TV and I watched part of that. So yeah, the timeliness of this definitely makes it funnier.
