Which TV shows did you start watching in 2012?
2 Broke Girls, Sports Night, Fresh Meat*, Once Upon a Time, Girls, The Newsroom, Jane By Design, Teen Wolf, Pretty Little Liars, Game of Thrones, Bent (OMG SIX EPISODES WAS WAY TOO LITTLE!), The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, Catfish, Switched at Birth* and probably a ton of other stuff I can't remember.

* - I actually can't remember if this was early 2012 or late 2011.

Which TV shows did you let go of in 2012?
Happy Endings: I just couldn't get into s2 so I quit watching before the end.
Teen Wolf: By the end of the second season I was incredibly annoyed by some of the plotting on this show. I got all the way through it, but overall the final arcs just didn't do it for me. I might change my mind if season 3 has a good start, but I'll be going into it as someone who has essentially given up.
Game of Thrones: I watched season 1 on HBOGo but I don't like it enough to watch season 2.
Raising Hope & The Glades: Don't hate these shows, and I'd probably watch them again if I had the chance. I just don't feel that drive to watch every episode like I do with other shows and they fell by the wayside because of it.
Parks & Rec, Revenge, The Hour: I haven't been watching these, but I plan to catch up eventually!

Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2012? Why?
Elementary: Short story, before I had a chance to watch any of this I realized it was a police procedural which isn't something I typically like.
House of Lies: No reason, just never got to watch it.

Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2013?
If I knew what shows were coming out in 2013 I'd be able to answer this better.

Which TV show impressed you least in 2012?
The only show I really quit watching because I didn't really like was Game of Thrones. I guess you could say I was underwhelmed because of the hype surrounding it but I don't know if you could say I was "unimpressed." It just wasn't something I liked. Other shows which I formerly watched annoyed me because of things they did which I only heard about through the grapevine. (I'm looking at you, SOA.) Which hardly counts.

Which TV show did you enjoy the most in 2012?
This is hard to answer. It comes and goes. The Newsroom was pretty good. But my old shows have their moments too. Maybe Parenthood. Certain moments of that show bring it so close to perfection that it's hard to believe more people I know don't watch it. Then there was the mixture of "this is uncomfortable" and "this is fucking fantastic" that was Shameless season 2. So idk, idk. TV IS GOOD, basically?

Parenhood is something I really want to get into. I started s1 on Netflix back in September and watched the first 8-11 episodes but then my brothers Wii stopped working and I haven't been back on. But it is something I want to start because EVERYONE I know that watches it says the same thing, close to perfection at times.

You should give Elementary a try. It's a police procedural wrapped around an odd-couple buddy fic. While some of the cases are interesting, what's awesome is Joan and Sherlock pushing each other's buttons and falling into friendship.

Just ignore the boring case stuff with Elementary. Trust me, as someone who watches procedurals for the character dynamics, it can totally be done. That said, so behind on that show it ain't even funny but, eh, that's what winter break is for.

Elementary is still worth giving a shot, IMO. I hate procedurals, but it actually sorta seems like the show does, too? LOL. Like, they can't be fucked about actually making really intricate mysteries, it's allllllll about Joan and Sherlock as screwed up people and as a growing partnership.

Ugh, Sons of Anarchy did some really upsetting shit this season :\

You know, I really, really loved the second season of Shameless, maybe even more than the first. A lot of the characters were less likable, and the fan reaction to Karen made me really angry, but overall I thought it was really ballsy and brave and really wrecked havoc on my emotions ... just fantastic.
