I was having serious Adam-issues in S2 even though I didn't allow myself to think about it all that much. Especially with the Shiri Appleby character.
I did really love him and Hannah in S3 though. Hannah is so unlikeable and self-centered at times that it's hard to root for her at all. But when she was excited for her future despite basically having just broken up with Adam, it felt like she kind of earned that, even though if you really analyze it it's still her same M.O. I enjoyed the stuff back home when her grandmother died and Adam joined her out there. They felt like a real grown-up couple for once. Which I think was kind of the theme of their relationship this season.
