Scandal:
We have weird hours at work this week with finals coming up so I had a lot of time this morning for doing next to nothing and I found some time to watch the first two episodes of Scandal, which I really love so far. No spoilers please! Having a hard time getting into the dynamic between Liv and President Grant. (And the president himself, sadly, even though I generally love Tony Goldwyn). I have a sense (cover art alone) that their relationship is kind of the crux of the show, so I am hoping it's just because I haven't gotten enough details of their story and characters yet.

The Originals:
Why am I loving this show so much? I can't figure it out but I love it exponentially. The original characters they've created for this show are generally wonderful. Camille is probably my favorite, with Josh pulling in a close second.

The Vampire Diaries:
I'm caught up with this show (until tonight when I have to work and will miss it) and I am feeling a little weird about it. Especially with residual Katherine-feels and all of that fun stuff. I basically just keep waiting for Caroline and Stefan to get together which is like shooting yourself in the foot, especially because it seems like it's never actually going to happen. (Or is it?)

Pretty Little Liars:
I have not watched a single episode of this show this year but I am DYING to catch up because I just had an hour-long conversation with a friend last night who just finished basically marathoning every episode of the show available on Netflix. This show is so weirdly addicting even though you feel like you're an adult and you should know better. It's like the jellybeans of TV.

Scandal's pretty good, though I think they dropped the ball a bit this season. Liv/Fitz is a big part of the show, yes. But I don't like Liv/Fitz or Fitz so it is possible to like the show without liking them/him.

I'm a few episodes behind on The Originals, but I like pretty much everyone but Klaus.

I really have not enjoyed TVD this season and I'm hoping they'll just write Bonnie/Kat Graham out so I can give up on it completely. While I do love the idea of Stefan/Caroline, the writers have a terrible track record with romantic relationships so I'd actually prefer them to stay non-canon so their relationship can continue to be a highlight of the show.

This season of PLL was pretty good but I'm even more excited for the upcoming season.

Same re: PLL. I love it so much and even it wanes a bit I'm still watching, but last season pulled me back in completely. Can't wait for it to come back.

So I haven't caught up on TVD since season finale last year and only saw the first two episodes of The Originals... it seems like it's worth it to catch up, though? Thoughts? I was a big Klaus fan on TVD (as well as Jeremy, Elena, Katherine, Bonnie, Caroline, and the rest of the original clan), how did his moving on affect things?

The Originals is kicking ass every week! I miss Rebekah like crazy, but look forward to her inevitable return sometime in the future. Josh is indeed awesome and all the others are so complex and compelling. Love me some great characters!
