It was good and creepy and different. I liked it but I don't know how it will translate to a second season. The first season was all about the slow unraveling when the hosts begin to gain consciousness and a sense of self. Which isn't a spoiler because it's clear from the first episode or two that that's what's happening to some of them. Anyway, the timeline is super fluid and jumps around a lot, but the narrative doesn't exactly clue you in to that fact until later on. Which makes sense, because without the aid of memory, how would the hosts know if something happened yesterday or 30 years ago? Gives you a sense of what they must feel like when they finally realize... well realize ANYTHING that is actually happening to them. Really puts us in their place so to speak.
