Speaking of the slashathon, there's about a week to go until the stories are due and I've got a lot of catching up to do myself! *bites nails* I'm hoping to get my late (as in late, as in dead) SC fics and my slashathon fics completed over Spring Break. Which is officially started now, thank god. I'll still go in to the library to get in some hours for the next couple of days but after that I am free to write as much slashy fic as I want! Yay! (Calling my muse! Has anyone seen my muse?)

( James Callis goes AA: American and Australian ) So, is it me or is James Callis hot? Just me? Okay. Seriously though, I love him. Every time I see video of him at a con or an interview he fills me with glee. (Glee, I say!) He's so charming and funny and he loves his show. *smishes James to bits* He cleans up so nice!

I'm thinking of doing a BSG advent like 25 days to countdown to season four, but I haven't really decided yet. It'd just be something small, a little discussion or a picture or some icons or a drabble or some thinky meta or whatever I feel like posting that day. I'll let you know!

I'm supposed to be doing homework but here's the thing.

A while back, I started to hear this soft... sucking sound. Turns out, cynthia_arrow could hear it too. We discussed the matter, and after further investigation, we came to realize that the sucking sound we were hearing? Was the major suckage that is the extreme lack of boyslash in the BSG fandom!

Obviously, some higher power was afoot, pointing us the path to our destiny. God or gods, we heard the call and we answered it. We created bsg_slashathon. You can join now, readers and writers alike, and if you are so inclined, sign-ups start on January 20th. (RPF Welcome!)

I was just about to go to bed, but I remembered I have wanted to post this all week!

Has anybody reading this ever participated in, run, or even heard of, a fandom-specific slash-a-thon? I'd like to take a look and see how they've been done in the past to get an idea of how to stage one in the future.

cynthia_arrow and I are talking about putting one on for Battlestar Galactica due to the painful lack of m/m slash in that fandom and our quest to remedy that. (If only for a short while.) But neither of us have experience in holding fic-a-thons, let alone slash-a-thons.

Can anyone point me in any kind of direction?
