I was so sure that Lilly's mother had done the deed. She was such a bitch to her. I didn't see the Aaron thing coming, honestly. The fact that Mr. Mars walked through fire to save her life? Holy fucking shit guys. I just... *love* That was so good. I couldn't believe my eyes. I cried!

I totally want to write some s1 centric Veronica/Weevil. When he comes to save her from the pool house of lies and video? Hehehe. Yes. You got a trophy for a rim job? Ohhh, Veronica.

I also love me some Wallace and could probably write some V/Wallace too. Even though they may become step-siblings in the future. Hey, it's not like it's unfamiliar ground.

Also? Mac is cool. And Alona is too cute in this.

Duncan is so vanilla. I have no strong feelings about him either way. But, the possible incest on the show was totally wtf!? Because you're my sister! Wow. For a minute there, I thought they were gonna make it real. But the scene where Keith tells her he's 100% her father, awww. Just... man. I was so happy for them.

Veronica is officially the best crier ever. Wow. Stab me through the heart why don't you?

One thing I didn't like was that Veronica seems to be a totally different person in the flashbacks. It's sorta weird.

I was so pissed when her mother took their money. What an evil bitch!

I'm guessing it was Logan at the door at the end?

You should write Veronica/Weevil. That was the first pairing I went searching for after watching VM.

The thing about Duncan is, I think he's a good person. He's not the most interesting guy, but, if I had to pick between him and Logan? Pshaw. Duncan wins, hands down. I have my moments of sympathy for Logan, but most of the time I just want to punch him in the face.

And, ug. I could kill Leanne for taking that money. How many times can she screw them over, really? :/

I will definitely think about writing them. Yeah Duncan seems like a nice guy. Logan, I did feel sympathy for him here, which shocked me. I was a little taken when V said she trusted him though. Really? "Enjoy making out with" and "trusting" = two different things. LOL.

I get that he's gone through stuff but why does that make it okay to be a total jerk off? I realize that many times it's looked like he's the one holding the smoking gun when he truly hasn't been, but... meh I dunno. I don't hate him as much as I used to. But still.

Apparently, Rob Thomas' original intention was to have Veronica and Duncan turn out to be related, but when the show ended up being picked up by a mainstream network (which I don't think he expected), he decided not to go the incest route.

VM season one is so much love - I really must do a rewatch.

I'm hoping to watch season 2 soon. I bought the season 1 DVDs on a whim when they were on sale at target, but everywhere I look season 2 is so expensive. Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and get them soon. Especially now since I'm so hooked.

It really was! There's something about this show. It's obviously very much a fantasy world but somehow it manages to be kind of real at the same time. I think a lot of that probably has to do with Veronica herself. She does emotional very well. Like when she confronted Mr. Kane at that Christmas party, and when she discovers that Duncan was the one with her that night, etc. She just rules.

Duncan be be a little vanilla, but sometimes he kills me. Like in that scene at his house in A Trip To The Dentist? Or when he flips the fuck out at Logan's b-day party and kills his own car? Teddy Dunn got a lot of crap for not being a good actor, but IMO, he was pretty good.

Vanilla hits home as a good description of Duncan. There's nothing really wrong with the guy, exactly. He's a nice guy, but...There's nothing that's really exciting about him either. In real life, maybe he'd be fine, but I suppose than in my tv watching world I prefer something a little more fun. I think Logan is supposed to fill that slot, but he doesn't do too much for me either. (At least not until later on it its run.)

She's 100% different in flashbacks. I see why she is, but it's a little disorienting. (Also, hello memories of half the girls in my high school.)
