But of an insta-rec as she just posted it today, but, so. damn. good. It's this kind of desolate and needy and lonely, but at the same time beautiful, thing. Anytime anybody writes this pairing my instant reaction is "Yay, Jawyercita!" But this is honestly one of the best I have read. She has a way with these three that seems to get better every time she writes them. Her characterization is fantastic, especially Claire. And Sawyer's voice is spot on. Just... lovely.

A beautiful heartwrenching little drabble with reflections on the season 4 finale. It made me miss reading these two. Oh gosh, boys. This felt old school somehow, and it broke my heart.

This is pretty much the first fic I've read in this fandom since I've started watching the show. I kind of ship these two and I totally blame sol_se. (Not that I don't see myself reading buckets of McShep in the future.) I've just been staying away from fic for fear of being spoiled. I saw this was set in season 2 and I jumped to read it! And I was not disappointed let me tell you. She really truly has the dynamics between those two at this point down so well. Every word felt authentic. Plus it's super hot! More people need to write this pairing! I could hardly find any fic about them!

Okay, I'm not going to lie, Sam/Leoben is my new favorite bsg slash pairing and this came right after Faith. It's a kind of missing/expanded scene-ish and super intense and hot (despite being only pg, I know!) Just... yum. Tons of deliciously thick tension in this one.

Set in New Caprica, this is a delicious kind of reverse-torture idea dealing with Kara's imprisonment by Leoben. It's sparse and intensely dark and really believable.

bsg, kara/lee, kara/anders, anders/six, anders/tory, helo/sharon, helo/kara, r, 4200
She strikes again. I think she wrote this when I wasn't looking because it took me forever to find this. I was so excited when I saw she'd written bsg you have no idea! If you've never read one of her fics before, you definitely should. Her style is sparse and disjointed but in a really incredible, beautiful way. She always somehow finds a way to get to the heart of each of the characters in so few words, this is no exception.

Hey kc, do you know about lost_recs? It's this comm where people...um...rec Lost fic. *iz lame* It hasn't been used in years and I'm trying to resurrect it - wanna help? You could c/p the recs for Lost fic from your post and plug it in over there. Think about how good that would make the poor, forgotten little comm feel! *iz rly lame*

Anyway, if you are so inclined, it would be appreciated. I'm heading over there to rec a new one and will post an old rec from there in my journal so people will see what great writers used to be in the fandom.

Oh yay! While you're over there - or when you get a chance - check out some of the old recs. There are some tremendous writers who have faded away over the years, but they were some of the best when it comes to Lost fic. I think you'll be pleased with what you find there!
