First up, Jen, purestvixen, wrote me the most amazing Callum Keith Rennie/Michael Trucco RPF ficlet. I requested Leoben/Sam but she must have got it turned around in her head. I gotta say, I am not displeased. It's ten kinds of hot, definitely R-rated. Two words. Hips. Teeth. Mkay? Go read.

She also wrote dayln03 some awesome Sam/Leoben with mentions of Kara. (Spoilers for the last ep.) Something about cold air and warm bodies... yeah. I want a sequel.

And while we're on that pairing, lizardbeth_j wrote a really beautiful Sam/Leoben fic called Hiding Myself in Your Eyes that plays on the idea that they may have shared a past back on Caprica.

I've come to the conclusion that Sam/Leoben and Trucco/Callum are my favorite new slash pairings. I am so happy they got some scenes together this season. Big yays for that and even bigger yays for BSG slash. *sigh* It's the little things that make me happy people!

Finally, I gotta say, lyssie's Chasing Tyrol is such an incredible read. The characters are spot on, especially Athena and the eights. I like that it's light and a bit comedic, but still very real to these (usually bleak) characters. The story itself for me, is kind of a hopeful thing, watching this group of people kind of become a family again? Man, I needed to see that.
