Hee, a lot of it is really hilarious, awesome crack, but there's a surprising amount of reallyreally good, serious "aliens make them do it" fics. Like, where it's not just a ploy to get John and Rodney in the sack, but where there are actual consequences (Your Inevitable Unhappy Ending by Helen is my favorite for this, it's so good. And it also goes into the "pining!John" cliche, which might be my favorite).

But long story short, yeah, for the most part all the cliches are meant to induce epic lols. XD
