I still haven't seen the last two episodes, but who wants to take bets on young JD McCoy?

→ TSCC. Holy crap! I need to watch that again! Oh my gosh! I only have a couple of comments.

.ELLISON - I squeed my butt off when that trunk opened and it was him. Such a hero moment! Just seeing him fighting side by side with all of them for a short while was very good. And I loved him in the church, praying. He really shined in this episode and I'm just beside myself with fannish squee over that fact.
.CROMARTIE - Is he really gone for good? I'm not so sure!
.DEREK/CAM - Face off! I liked that. There needs to be more fic for them.
.THE MEXICAN CHASE SCENE - That was just brilliant and I loved seeing it from different perspectives. Fantastic and fun and that was a cool-ass car!
.JOHN - I'm loving the development of his character and sadly, I really like Riley. I hope we see her again!
.SARAH - Oh my god, the trunk thing with the soda can? After seeing that, I kept rubbing my palm all day! It gave me goosebumps! The scene when she destroyed the chip was great. I'm sad she sent Agent Ellison on his way though. No, Ellison! Come back! Sarah/James? Anyone?

→ Got my yuletide assignment! And it's for a fandom I haven't ever written! (I hope that's not giving away too much, there are like forty berjillion fandoms I've never written, lol.) Kind of nervous/excited. I didn't put together my letter to my yuletide author yet. Maybe I'll get around to that this afternoon.

Uhoh. I think you're right. Although I wanted the McCoy kid to stay the big football star so that my Matty can focus on life after football and get a scholarship and go to medschool and become a surgeon. :p Come on, even Zach Gilford knows Matt is my mini!Jack.

Hahah, I don't find a lot of parallels between Jack and Matt. I think Matt's too sweet, haha. Of course he does have his share of baggage, but Jack's much more of a take-charge kind of guy than Matt. Though I can see where you'd find similarities.

Yeah it's gotta be McCoy. There wouldn't be enough build-up for it to be anybody else really. I could have seen it in Santiago eventually, but they dropped his character.

I have a feeling it kinda has to be JD too. I think with pretty much any of the other characters it would feel extremely out of the blue! Not that I'd mind if it was Tim and he confided in Billy and then that led to them like making out or something.......yeah

I knew it! Sooner or later someone had to be gay!
I was actually hoping it would be Santiago, since the actor did such a fantastic job playing that gay soldier on Grey's Anatomy, but JD would be cool, too...how much do you wanna bet that he will fall for Riggins? (Everybody does ;)

I have a feeling that this show will probably shy away from gay characters falling for straight ones. Unless they do it in a light way.

And I totally agree that he was great in Grey's but I remember thinking they might be going there with his character before even seeing that ep. They may have been, but with the short season maybe it got squashed. I honestly preferred him over what I've seen of JD so far. I thought the actor was really understated.

JD's got that weird deer-in-the-headlights look all the time lol. Gives me the heebie jeebies.

I'm not all that excited about it. I mean, guessing who it might be (but it's obvious really) is fun but other than that I'm not sure I really care that much if a side character is suddenly gay. If it was a main character and they'd developed it for a while it would be much more interesting and potentially compelling. But I really haven't seen JD that much and I don't really care about him at all.

And even with Herc it would be way out of the blue, given his past behavior. That would only make sense if they'd given some kind of hinting to it.
