Ah ah! :D

The first time I was watching it I was alone... half trhough it I had to stop and call my sister to make her watch it immediately because it was just too good and I had to share! So I ended up rewatching everything happily... damn, that ending! °_° Aren't you in love with Tommy already? I never fell in love with some characters so quickly! It's amazing!
And it's about brothers and family and they are Irish... just too perfect for me!

I have been waiting for it since this summer! °_°

Yes, yes!

I was telling my friend Carrie that I am pretty stoked for the show. (This was before I watched the pilot) and asked if she'd seen the previews. She said yes, she had. "And isn't it just like, the Sopranos with Irish dudes?" Hehe.

At that point, I'll be honest, I hadn't seen a lot of the gun-blasting previews. The stuff I'd seen was more of the comedy/drama/funny dude talking about the bodies thing. I mean. I knew there were bodies involved - but it didn't seem anything at all like the Sopranos. So I was like "What? NOOO!" And I convinced her to give it a one episode shot, since she watched Heroes anyway and it comes on afterward. So she said she would. Score!

My favorite favorite part in the thing, aside from the ending has got to be these lines:

Where are you going?

Whereever you are.

I hope this show lives up to the pilot. Cause, holy crap that's bordering on the best pilot I've ever seen.

Yeah, I've heard it often compared to the Sopranos... but I must say I never had the luck to watch it. Her in Italy it was airing at 1 am! °_° But from the little I know about the Sopranos it seems different to me. Sure, they both deal with the mob... but the Donnelly's are more like forced to enter that world... they are not really part of it. I think they would be more than happy to leave that neighborhood. But I really don't care anyway... I'm in especially for the characters! :)

I made my two friends watch it and they loved it! :D Actually, everyone who decided to watch it found it awesome! I hope the ratings will be good... it's the only thing I worry about right now!

As someone who's seen both the Sopranos and the pilot of The Black Donnelly's I can definitely say that it's nothing like the Sopranos. It falls into the same genre and that's about it. Pretty much everything is different. For one thing, the characters on The Black Donnelly's are likeable. And that's just the start.
