→ Dear fandom, You know what's unattractive? Gloating. I mean, why does everything have to come down to ships? Gloating? Seriously? Not cool. I need to write a non-shipper multi-shipper manifesto or something. And I so totally would... if I actually cared that much. Mine is a stress free world. (Does that count as gloating?)

→ TV Checklist. I'm currently behind on Dollhouse and Big Love. I am caught up on TSCC. And... I will never ever be behind on BSG again. *tears*

→ Holy crap! Battlestar is over! I don't think it's sunk in yet. I might be repeating that over and over all week.

→ Homeworking and audio-booking today... probably. How do I get myself into these things?

→ Quick fic!rec: Unfettered by sionnain, finale missing scene fic, Kara/Leoben, pg, and frakking amazing and perfect. My new canon. ;)

You need to catch up with Big Love soon! The finale is tonight and I predict it will be as glorious as the entire season. I gave up on Dollhouse after two episodes. I kept taping it, but just deleted the episodes yesterday when I realized I had no desire to catch up.

I echo everything you have to say about gloating shippers. I would add the opposite, bemoaning your ship's place in canon/fandom, is equally obnoxious. These are probably unfair responses because I have never felt strongly enough about any fictional relationship, so I don’t know how it feels to care so much. Also, I am sure one could say, bitching about how annoying shipping can be, is an equally an unattractive quality. Sorry, I'm just feeling cranky about a lot of things to do with fandom culture lately.

I really really wanna catch up. I just haven't had the time. I will try sometime this week.

Oh yes, the whining can be annoying as well. And reacting in either direction, being upset, being happy etc. Doesn't really fall into that category. That is perfectly normal/natural etc. It's the stuff beyond reacting that baffles me.

And yeah, I have no idea what it's like to feel that attached to a couple. I'm not a non-shipper, but multi-shipper, yes. I just don't really latch on to one particular partner for one particular character. For me, as long as a relationship is well done and presented as believable, interesting, compelling, etc. I usually just enjoy watching it no matter what. I'm fairly easy that way. So I guess I can't really understand.

You HAVE to catch up on Dollhouse! I just caught up yesterday, and Holy. Crap. Yeah, all I can really say is that Joss proved why he is the master once again in this latest episode. I'd say it was a roller coaster ride, but I don't think roller coasters have that many twists and turns.

On a side note, do you know of any Dollhouse fan forums (sort of like The Bronze Beta, but for Dollhouse)? I think at this juncture, I need a place to discuss.

This last episode was crazy! Things definitely happened that I wasnt' expecting.

The story is posted @ my journal. It's called Another Summers, Another Demon. I have to warn you, there is sex involved at one point. But I'm told my Dawn voice is perfect.

Yeah, the Bronze is still there, actually. Not as much traffic, but all the golden oldies are there: Christopher Marlowe, oldmanfan, etc... They talk about Dollhouse a little, but there's kind of a multi-fandom there.

Gloating is NOT cool! :( I don't know why people have to turn fandom into some ugly thing of "Us vs Them" when it should just be, "Hey, we all love the same show, yay!" :S (It's a much prettier world in my imagination sometimes, I have to say... ;) )

Thanks for the fic rec! (Though your link has an extra " at the end of it that makes it get a 404 error. Which didn't bother me because I enjoy reading LJ's 404 errors, lol! ;) But I thought I'd mention it to you all the same. ;) ) Anyway, I noticed this gorgeous icon while I was there:



And went looking to see who it belonged to so I could properly thank, gank and credit and found that it's yours! :D But I couldn't find the post it came from. :( So then I got to thinking, what if it's not yours? Or what if it was made specifically FOR somebody and wasn't part of a public post? I could make a freakin' TON of terrible icon etiquette errors here! O_O *swoons from teh drama*
