Cal! Chloe! I am seriously in tears right now. That was so heartbreaking. That moment when she says "You can't have me," and lets go? Oh my god. Why? I was so hoping they would make it to the end.

At least they got their reunion and their proposal.

*wipes tears*

I honestly did not expect to get so wrapped up in this show that I would cry over someone's death. Wow.

*covers eyes*

I have 1x01 on my disk, and I'm going to watch it some time soon. Is this any good? I mean, how do you like it? ;)

Definitely don't look at that post. I am LOVING this show. I think the first few eps it was kind of like "oh gosh can we please move on!" but in hindsight they really needed to start it off slow cause these back half episodes are so chock full of amazingness that we really needed that set-up.

This show? LOVE.

Yeah. Very sad to see them go. At least we got to be with them, if that makes sense. And they didn't just end up stuffed in a tunnel off screen. We got to see them fight and reunite and fight some more. Good for them.

Right? And Chloe. Wow. I liked that she said that to him, that she made that choice. Even though I think anyone should still fight and not give up. At least she took something from him. She took her power back even though it ended in death. It was on her own terms.

Umm, hi. I just added you as a friend because I saw your Callum Rennie icon and noticed you had Due South and Paul Gross mentioned in your tags. I'm a big Due South fan. Hope you don't mind me adding you.

I can't believe this show actually made me cry! Their deaths were by far the most heartbreaking. But yeah, I'm glad they got reunited, even for just a little while. Chloe's "you can't have me" had me flailing at the screen in tears.

Yeah I was totally in tears and that line was just the cherry on top of the tragic-death-sunday. Just... wow.

(And now I have a couple HI icons to use.)

They seriously need to do more self-contained shows like this. Love it!

Any thoughts on Wakefield's kid? The obvious choice seems to be Jimmy, but I'm thinking it's Henry. (Though I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if it turned out to be Trish.)

My only issue with it turning out to be Trish is how she would have ended up with the Wellingtons. Unless they adopted her and never told her. He did pause for quite a long time after he busted that door open. Maybe...

And Henry, you know. I hate to agree with you cause I want him so badly to be the good guy, but I had doubts about him right from the start. Too much shit didn't add up. But I'm crossing my fingers that it was all misdirection. I felt the same way about Jimmy (and frankly, several people.)

I see the Wellingtons as a family that keeps secrets to keep that Perfect Family Image™, well, perfect. Which is probably the only reason I'm even considering Trish as an option. LOL Though Wakefield seems to be killing mostly for killing's sake, it seems the wedding and/or its guests was some kind of trigger to bring him back to Harper's Island. Bride and groom are the main focus of any wedding, so I guess my mind automatically wants to go to them.

I feel the same way about wanting both Henry and Jimmy to be good guys, but the question I have is whether this second killer is actually the child of Wakefield. Maybe he/she is just an apprentice of sorts and Wakefield is after his child? Does said child even know they've been adopted?

There's also an annoying voice in the back of my head that keeps repeating 'Chloe wouldn't have died from that.' So I guess there's a part of me expecting her to show up again, which leads me to read too much into things like, of all people, why did he lock Chloe away and not just kill her?
