So... this is dramatic.

DON'T PANIC
I swear I don't hate you. I have just done that huge dramatic "de-friending everybody" thing that seems to have worked really well for several other members of my flist. The only people who survived the "almost everyone" cut are those people that I know are super busy with life right now or that haven't updated in ions, both groups that will likely not see this post for 100 years or so. And also a few people from rarely-used reading and event filters that I am too damn lazy to re-do later. (Yes, I'm that lazy.)
So if you'd like to stay just leave a comment here OR PM ME if you prefer and I'll add you right back. No hard feelings if you don't.

For example, the one chick who spends a great deal of time in Antarctica(!!) and re-friending people isn't exactly the first thing on her mind every day, as well as some other older friends who aren't that LJ active and wouldn't see this post anyway. Most actives (haha, dollhouse slang) will see this and if they want to keep me they can keep me. But the non-actives might never see this depending on how long it takes them to find their way to LJ again.
I'm not sure the logic looks good all typed out like that, but it made sense to me at the time!
And ptshaw! I'm totally keeping you. Bandom and all. You're a package deal.
