This is a Queer as Folk ensemble vid and it has made me want to re-watch the series in its entirety. I think the thing it does, which I haven't seen in a lot of QaF vids (but then maybe I'm not exactly looking), in addition to really highlighting some powerful individual character moments, is that it focuses on these characters and all of these really great moments in a way that is more focused on this family (both by birth/marriage and their created family), which was such an integral part of the show. It was as important as, if not more than, all the cute men kissing and touching and having angst. It's a really rather unexpectedly heartwarming and emotional video.

Thanks so much for the rec! I'm thrilled that it's getting people to rewatch the series...I can't believe you just suddenly bought it on ebay lol. I'm glad the video had such a good effect! And I definitely hope you do one of your own :o)

I totally bought it and it's totally because of your vid. But it's definitely something I've wanted for a long time, your vid was just the final push over the edge. To be honest, I've never actually SEEN it that cheap before, if I hadn't caught such a deal (on a brand new copy!) I might have just gone to ebay and salivated over the set.

But! It's on sale at amazon right now too for 99.99 -- which is a pretty good deal in and of itself in comparison to what I have seen it for in the past. (But my deal was still better at 69.99!)


ETA: I lied, it was on sale at amazon for 99.99 YESTERDAY. Today it's back up to 154.99.
