02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Oh, there are lots. This show was sort of filled with characters who gave off wrong first impressions and characters who changed throughout the series. I think I will say Sully -- he had a really great arc. (And because even though he was a royal jerk, I really liked Shane from the start.)
03. The character I would shag anytime:
Um, there are too many? Probably Henry, or Sully, or Shane. Those are my top three, definitely.
04. The character I'd slap:
Malcolm! Oh my god what an idiot! The whole thing about him lying about what happened to Booth and hiding the money! I believe it was Danny who gave it to him good when they find out? I was cheering. There are probably others, but that one sticks out.
05. Who are my 3 favorite characters.
Abby, Henry, Shane and Sully? I am picking four because I can?
06. What are my 3 favorite pairings.
Chloe & Cal, Abby & Henry, and... then some combination of the rest of my favorite non-canon pairings, Henry/Shane, Henry/Sully, Sully/Shea... that's like five, I suck.

08. The coolest thing about the canon:
How I expected so very little out of this show and ended up loving it. It really surpassed every expectation and had some great character moments/arcs. For a horror-mini-series-thing that was a pleasant surprise.
09. The lamest thing about the canon:
Those first few eps took a while to pick up, even though that was purposeful so we could get to know the characters before they all started running around in the dark, so other than that I'd say probably the whole thing with the boat and the money and Booth and Malcolm. That just bugs me.
10. My guiltiest pleasure in this fandom:
Just loving it as much as I do in the first place?
11. What story I wish I had written/still want to write:
There are too many. I would really like to write Shea/Sully though. Something post-series where he survives. That's like my number one.

Date: 2009-12-28 04:13 am (UTC)Peter. He just adds a dose of reality to that first episode -- kind of the everyman bought into this world he had no idea about. To be fair I really loved Walter and Olivia right from the start, but peter is the one that stole it for me.

Probably Philip Broyles. There have been so many moments with him where he surprises me as a character. At the restaurant with the little boy, the most recent episode with Olivia. He was kind of frustrating in the beginning.

PETER FRAKKING BISHOP.

In the past? Probably Nina Sharp because she's been so secretive with them, but I'm assuming now she has her reasons and thus I kind of forgive her.

Peter/Liv, Peter/Astrid, Liv/John Scott

I'm probably very unlike any of these characters.

I am really sad that Charlie had to die. I don't deny the power of that storyline and what it meant to Olivia's character. But I am SO ready for the other Charlie to step through the gate or whatever.

None this show is awesome in every way shape or form -- I feel no guilt.

I gotta preface this by saying I don't really like any of the ships on this show very much. So these are "mildly interested" or "oh they're cute" reactions.
Keith/Wallace's Mom, Wallace/Veronica, Veronica/Weevil

I was told I'm most like Veronica and I do see some similarities.
08. The coolest thing about the canon:
It was just a fun show to watch, all the mysteries and detective work. That was by far my favorite thing about the show and it never let me down in that respect.

The "Duncan runs away" thing struck me as kind of silly.

Even though I don't ship them, I do think that Veronica and Keith have the most chemistry of any two characters on this show. By far. Light years. I also think that Dick was kind of cute.
11. What story I wish I had written/still want to write:
Veronica and Wallace are impersonated by a couple of bank robbers and have to go on the run because they're now wanted criminals. They head for the border and end up in Mexico where, with the help of Keith and Weevil working tirelessly back home, they will eventually capture the impersonators and save (their own) day. Or... probably not. I don't have too much desire to write fic in this fandom. Maybe that's cause I don't ship anyone? That's sad to say, but true.

I really loved Robin/Faith at the end there. A lot. I wonder if anyone's written stories about their adventures together? But other than that I was usually happy with all of the canon pairings (even if they contradicted each other.)

It's like some kind of sociological experiment. Just watching these characters interact the way they do in their unusual relationships is so fascinating, especially the sister-wives. It's always done a really great job with that and with handling the dynamics of four people in this type of relationship in a realistic but unpredictable way.
09. The lamest thing about the canon:
I can't think of anything.
10. My guiltiest pleasure in this fandom:
I kind of shipped Barb/Joey for a brief time. Also Margene/Ben. (Why do I want everyone to cheat on Bill? I don't know.) But not so much anymore.

The way it made you think. The way it turned things on its head. The questions it raised about humanity, about war, about peace, about life itself.

Apollo's season four hair? Lack of Leoben? I don't know. There were some things I would change if I could, but how? I don't know.

Shipping Sam and Kara with practically everyone? Love of Leoben. Love of Baltar.
