For those of you that care, and I'm sure most of you don't, but I finally have all my vids streaming in the same place, and, (this is the important part) I updated all my individual vid pages to include an embed. That was painfully time-consuming but I was a little more than slightly tired of seeing yucky imeem ads all over my vid pages. (That site was always so slow for me. Thank goodness it died.)

To the point: You can find them all streaming at http://stupid-happy.ning.com/

I am hoping to make another vidlet soon and I have at least two viable ideas for full-length vids. I'll let those marinate a while. Baby steps.

Speaking of things you may or may not care about, I watched the movie Triangle last night. It had Melissa George, who was great. But, what kind of fucking twilight-zone shit was that? Christ on a cracker! It was very good, mind you, and I'm not usually that spooked by horror movies, but they usually don't make me afraid of myself either. It's complicated. You'll understand when you watch the movie. Which you totally should do. If you think you can handle some mind-bending twilight-zone stuff.

Also, I posted fic today: i won't rot (i won't be forgot), alex/richard, lost, pg13.

*runs around in circles* YAY KC!!!

You watched a different movie? How did that happen with the [correct] disc in the drive?!

LOL.

Oh! Haha, I watched Hard Candy yesterday and I watched Triangle the night before, lol. Yes, I did actually watch the movie that has sat on my shelf for years.

It was good, extremely messed up but good. It's no wonder it was a star-turning role for Ellen Page. It was sort of emotionally deceptive -- but at the end it was clear, she was crazy (revenging her friend's death?) and HE was a murderer. So at least there was some clarity there, after all of the ambiguity of "who do we root for" throughout the whole movie.

Oh, definitely! I was kinda rooting for Ellen Page anyway, haha. I was really glad for the fact that they didn't wrap it up in a bow in regards to exactly what her relation was to Donna Mauer, like who knows if she was just a friend, sister, girlfriend even. One of my favourite movies--and I hope that doesn't make me kind of messed up, lol.

Yeah I mean it was pretty clear that neither of these people were exactly the picture of a "good citizen" lol. But it was definitely a movie without a clear protagonist. That's not something I haven't ever seen before, but it's kind of rare. Especially in a movie like this. (Usually when someone's tied up being tortured, that kind of ambiguity isn't a problem, lol.)
