→ So Jacob really is dead? Extreme disappointment. It's a good thing that Hurley (and Miles) can talk to dead people/gods/mysterious entities.
→ I loved Richard manhandling Ben like that. "I think you should say hello to him first!" *shove*
→ I did not love evil!Locke manhandling Richard in such a manner. That was not okay, Evil!Locke! You hear me?!?!
→ (Sidenote: Though the idea of Richard in chains is mildly intriguing.)
→ (Sidenote #2: Where is he taking him? Bargaining chip at the temple?)
→ Claire! That was a beautiful 1-second return + throwaway line. Nice wig. I hope this isn't an indication of your projected screentime levels this season. That adds up to about a half a second per episode. That'd be like 8 seconds total. That would suck.

And damn. FakeLocke is scarrrryyyy. Terry O/Quinn can do one fucking mean looking face. I like how he talked to all the people as if they were pets. Its a very cool set up. For the backgammon concept.

Also, the first hour felt kinda pointless. Like half of it was spent trying to get Juliet out and then once they did she died? I'm not complaining about that but still lol it just felt like it ate up time.

I think I've heard (a long time ago, but I'm assuming it still holds true) that Josh really would like to cut his hair but essentially can't which makes no sense because they've had access to scissors on the island since the crash. Claire cut Charlie's hair in s1 and Kate cut Sawyer's hair I think in s2.
Anyway, this is pretty much just a rant about how this show SUCKS when it comes to hair. SUCKS I SAY!

Date: 2010-02-03 12:37 pm (UTC)I feel like maybe if we were absolutely confident that the writers/creators knew what the fuck they were doing and actually did have some big, explainy, sense-making ending in store all along, it would be a lot easier to fall into that "omg i don't get it at all, this is awesome" state of mind until we got to said ending. lol But instead, it just feels like they're going what's the most random thing we can do? Sweet, let's try that. Or something lol

I would have stopped watching the show then and there. Or B) I would have said, "It will all make sense by the time I watch these first five seasons." I would eventually learn that I was wrong. But as I'm here now, there's not really any stopping.
SIGH. Now I know what it's like to be in chains, Richard.
