I'm finishing up season one of Jericho tonight. (Thanks, hepburnesque!) I am really loving it. Too bad it's yet another show that got taken before its time. Twice!
In honor of the occasion, I thought I'd pop by to share some Skeet with you all.
"DO NOT COPY!"
And, in conclusion, THIS: Just saying! (I know, I know. It's wrong.)
Hahah, he was pretty great too. He always reminded me a lot of the guy I crushed on in high school. I watched Empire Records about four million times. (Not because of him, because it was just that damn awesome.)
As I recall from reading many, many MANY years ago, I think as a child they called him skeeter because he moved so fast when playing baseball or something random like that. Then he shortened it when he got older. Sometimes weird nicknames stick. Some of my closest friends have totally bizarre nicknames that you'd expect them to have ditched a decade or two ago but they're used to it so they just keep it.
SKEET! I've had a thing for him since The Craft and Scream. I remember everyone saying he was like a younger Johnny Depp. And I'm pretty sure Skeet is just a nickname. Hehe.
I always forget who that actor is but then again, I don't think of him as Eric in Jericho; I always remember him as Coxy, one of the hockey players in Miracle, which stars one of the prettiest men on TV, Eddie Cahill.
Ooh, nice pictures! Hee. I'm so glad you're enjoying Jericho.
As for Skeet Ulrich, IMDB tells all.
His real name is Bryan Ray Trout and he was born in Lynchburg, Virginia and...HE'S FORTY!!!?! No way. *peers at his photo* DAA...MN, he looks good for his age.
I'm SO enjoying it. I probably never would have finished it if you hadn't gotten me those DVDs. I'm well on my way now. I don't know why I lapsed -- I really liked it when I watched those first few eps. I think I was having trouble finding downloads for a while actually.
Hey, if you put his nickname with his old last name he'd be Skeet Trout -- lol. That would be weird!
Wow he's forty? Well Jericho was only a few years ago but damn -- he's definitely looking good!
Hey! Your birthday is this week!
(I'm currently watching Life Unexpected in Mom's room. Still very good!)
I can see why anyone would be after this show. He's extremely pretty and he carries the entire show for the most part. Along with Lennie James who plays Robert Hawkins.
OI, I LOVED THIS SHOW. Also bless you brightening up my flist with Skeet.
And, randomly, it's probably because both these shows were on CBS, but I am wondering what would happen if the folks of Jericho met those Harper's Island. I sensing epic and tragedy either way, heh. /tangent
Jericho!!!! <3 Skeet Ulrich neeeds to BE IN MORE THINGS. I bought this weirdass movie called Soul Assassin once just because he was in it. It was better than I thought but it was still kinda weird. Anyway, I love Jake Green and his Jack of All Trades-ness (HOT HOT HOT). Him and Peter Bishop should be in an AU fic being BAMF-y jack of all trades guys together.
I love how he's such a jack-of-all-trades. And Peter too. There definitely should be some sort of crossover. Sometimes I wish shows would just randomly cross over anyway -- like for real -- I want to see it on screen, lol. Skeet showing up on Fringe would be interesting, lol.

Date: 2010-02-09 01:25 am (UTC)He's still very pretty in Jericho! (And less of a jerk, if I'm recalling The Craft correctly.)
EDIT: Who names their kid SKEET?
