And sadly, I sincerely doubt we'll ever see Claire's real hair on the show. For some reason they have had her in a wig since season 4. (Never mind she wasn't around for season 5.) It's really despicable.

I have no idea. I think they're punishing Emilie for cutting her hair -- but it's not like other actors haven't had different hair throughout the seasons.
