→ Is anybody else enjoying Parenthood as much as I am? For a show who's pilot failed to woo me in the beginning, it really has become a show I truly look forward to every week. I highly recommend it to everyone. Seriously.

→ Happy Town. I didn't have any expectations with this show really, but I just turned it off halfway through the second episode because I couldn't stand it anymore. Just... no. I can't pinpoint what exactly they're doing wrong but part of me wants to say everything.

→ Another Happy Town note, the actress Lauren German reminds me a bit of Milla Jovovich. I was in the kitchen doing something and I couldn't figure out who she sounded like. Her voice sounds a lot like Milla's -- which is a weird distinction to make. I don't know that I've ever noticed voice similarities between actors/actresses before. I suppose she may look a bit like her too but to be honest their voices are far more similar than their looks. Just a random thing I noticed.

→ I was planning to relax in my lush and green [and inviting] backyard today and just spend some time enjoying the sun, reading, or even bring my laptop out and try to write or something, but the wind is blowing like a motherfrakker out there. Apparently we're supposed to have heavy gusts for the majority of today. Not cool, mother nature. Not cool.

→ In case anyone was wondering, laundry sucks.

I'm crazy about Parenthood. It just keeps getting better by the week. I think I'm most surprised by how much I love Crosby though. I never would have imagined that Dax Shepherd's character would be my favorite.

I was actually really hopeful about his role as soon as I saw the promos. I really do love his character and I think he's doing a great job with the role but honestly I can't pick a favorite character right now. It's more of the combination of characters that gets me.

*raises hand* I love Parenthood! It's not at the top of my TV list or anything but I truly enjoy and look forward to the episodes. And moar Lauren Graham on mah TV doesn't hurt either. :)

I admit she's a big draw for me. I always LOVED her in the Gilmore Girls even though I was by no means a regular viewer. And she's great in this too. She's got the same "single mom" Lorelei feel but is a very different character at the same time.
