Eric Balfour, we hardly knew ye.


These came about completely randomly. Looking up something about Haven led me to this gent's wikipedia page which said something about him being the "face" of some men's fragrance. I, being curious and on one of those websearch snowballs, had to look it up. I'm not entirely sure that these have anything to do with cologne, but these are the pictures I found along my search. I honestly really love his character in Haven. There's another leading man who's just so darn handsome, but Eric is so talented and his character is so dynamic compared to the rest that I just can't help but love him the most. [His name's Duke in the show.]

I might just have to watch that movie!

Eric Balfour is bizarrely sexy.

Lie to Me accomplishes storytelling without much dialoge. It's a strange movie, but I think it's interesting in vidding terms too. Like how to show and not tell. Also, Eric Balfour is naked in it.

Yeah I watched it today. I think for me, the one fault of the movie was her sultry sort of silly voice-overs. Some of the information was necessary but I think the visuals of the film told us a lot of the stuff she spells out for us in them anyway so it could have done with less of them, if not getting rid of them at all.

I love the first scene where he chases her before they get to the playground. Just the visuals of it. [Again the voice-over kind of ruined what was a genuinely beautiful scene -- for me anyway.]

Eric was at Comic Con, and I happily got quite close. However, if I'd seen those pic beforehand I may have failed to stay in my seat....! Damn.

I knew he was in that because my mom watched that show but I still haven't really sat down to watch it even though I do have season 1 on DVD.

So I recalled him from that and also from Buffy and likely various other things he's been in since he's done a lot of different things.
