My Top Ten TV Characters of the Past Twelve Months


10. Kate Austen, Lost
Kate stands in the place of other characters like Arizona Robbins [Grey's Anatomy], Crosby Braverman [Parenthood], Peter Bishop [Fringe], and a few others. I just couldn't choose! Over the past two seasons, Kate has been one of the only Lost characters who's motivations I could both understand, and support. She's more than earned her spot on my list.


09. Ana, Big Love
The only one who has told Bill to his face what a twisted world he's living in. I've got nothing but love for this girl and I'm crossing my fingers we see her again in season four.


08. Private First Class Robert Leckie, The Pacific
"The jungle holds both beauty and terror in its depths, most terrible of which is man. We have met the enemy and have learned nothing more about him. She's the girl on this show who's stolen all of our hearts. [As well as all of her scenes.]


04. Abed Nadir, Community
Such the fanboy. He's us. It's hard to pick a favorite from this ensemble show but in all honesty he brings something to the table that none of the other characters do.


03. Betty Suarez, Ugly Betty
I miss you, Betty!


02. Jack Shephard, Lost

01. The Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker-Delgados, Modern Family
So they're not one character. To make me choose would be cruel and unusual punishment.
