a place called home; r
dollhouse, alpha/echo; 56
for
Alpha listens to the the sound of her moving around his quarters, Echo's bare feet padding softly around the room like she's at home -- like she belongs here, belongs with him; it makes him hard just to think of it and he reaches out, grabs her by the wrist, "Come back to bed," he says.

fringe, charlie/olivia; 56
for
Charlie saves her -- not her Charlie, no, but a Charlie very much like him; they torch their blood-soaked clothes outside the remote cabin and Charlie throws his phone into the fire, lets Olivia hold his hand, takes her to bed -- he's not her Charlie, no, but he is a Charlie very much like him.
road to nowhere; r
lost, claire/jack; 104
for
Every time he puts his hands on her, Claire thinks of the day she'll finally leave: Jack's thumbs trace along the side of her breasts and she imagines a long dark highway stretching behind closed lids; his tongue slides against the roof of her mouth, and she keens, "I'm going now," the words unspoken; his lips graze the skin behind her ear and Claire can see a life without him; but when Jack presses inside her, her nails marking the skin of his neck and back, his name on her lips, her voice flooding the room, Claire knows that she won't ever say goodbye.

Date: 2010-09-18 02:45 am (UTC)So looking at the page, I know I am doomed, because I will have to go in tomorrow and write something. I already bookmarked one of the prompts, which added with all my comment_fic bookmarks makes 14 prompts now I should probably go ahead and fill before I go browsing for anymore...
Also, I need to go ahead and keep watching Lost, because there were a lot of names in those prompts that I did not recognize at all.

Date: 2010-09-18 03:48 am (UTC)How far are you into lost out of curiosity? They add new people every season. It's a pretty insane amount of characters to get used to.
You definitely must play with some of these. I know how you feel about having so much to write and no motivation. At least with these all you have to write is one sentence! haha.

Date: 2010-09-18 10:26 am (UTC)I plan to try to catch up with my commentficcing this afternoon. If I can get even a quarter of these prompts filled, I'll feel accomplished. I've been in a total writing rut lately and have only written 20 words total in the last like two months. It's depressing.

I've been in a rut as well which is why this little excercise has been fun. Usually "one-line" things scare me, but I was able to fill three prompts! I'm happy for that. Good luck with your writing!
