→ Dear spoilers, Would you kindly fuck off? Thank you. (P.S. What is wrong with people?!?!)

→ Watched the season (series?) finale of Off the Map today.

I am not really all that invested in Mina and Tommy. I like Mina, I like Tommy, but together they just don't interest me. Case in point. Mina's final story this week was really touching to me. She finally got her redemption, the redemption that she needed and deserved. I was loving it right up until when she hugged Tommy. But as soon as he opened his mouth and confessed his love for her? They kind of lost me. Sad to say.

I love Lily, and I hope Mateo lives! He was pretty cute coming to visit her at the clinic and talking about how he hadn't seen his girlfriend in a while and yeah, I think their romance is cute. Coca aside. So I was concerned and yet not overly heartbroken to see that he'd been gunned down. I think it's because his character isn't all that developed. If it had been Lily who was shot instead, I think I would have been more disturbed by it.

Was it just me or were they trying to revive a little of the Lily/Ben action there at the end? I wouldn't be opposed. Romantic entanglements are fun to watch. I'm not sure if that's what they're doing but I definitely caught a whiff of something. I liked her whole transformation. The clinic itself, the jungle, being in this other no-named country, it definitely seems like it changes you.

Speaking of changes, I can't believe that Ben called in his old pal (forget his name) for a transplant for Ryan. I can't believe Ryan didn't go to New York! It's all so... dreadful! And he's right, how the hell are they going to get a heart? It's not like getting a liver or a kidney transplant, this is somebody's heart we're talking about here. But by gosh, give her the heart because I really like her! (Also, how weird would it be if Abby ended up being a match? SO WEIRD. Except, then the clinic would have to close and no more show. Boo. Unless some other mysterious benefactor comes into play.)

Otis and Zee were cute! Charlie is awesome! That is all.

I hope they renew this show!

→ I don't know if I mentioned it, but I watched The Killing last week and caught ep 3 this morning/afternoon. It's normally not my kind of thing but I'm loving it. It must be all the rain that makes me like it. Plus, it seems like things just got 1000x more twisted. I really enjoy the two lead detectives. They're really great and they have a strange sort of chemistry I like. She's all calm and stoic but a little bit tense at the same time. He's loose and little bit of a firecracker. There's a sense that they kind of trust each other already, despite just meeting. Or maybe it's just respect for each other's crafts. They both clearly have very different skill sets. I think my favorite thing about it is that we're following one investigation throughout the whole series. This has the potential to be quite the interesting mystery.

Dear spoilers, Would you kindly fuck off? Thank you. (P.S. What is wrong with people?!?!)

Oh my GOD. The worst, the worst, is when people make icons out of really spoilery promo pics from episodes that aren't going to air for another month. Because my flist tends to be pretty good about putting that stuff behind a cut, so that's really the only time there's trouble for me. Oh, that and the subject line at a community for a UST-heavy pairing being OMGGGGGGGGG SEXY SNEAK PEEK! CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!! (True story.)

Yeah the promo icons are definitey the worst. Icons and graphics and such. Aren't those supposed to be sacred until the show airs? The worst is, and I only use this an example because I've seen this one a lot, when it's a promo pic that's of two characters kissing that normally do not kiss, lol. Um, why? Go away.

Having recently gotten on the spoiler free wagon I apologize if I ever spoiled anything for you (or anyone) it is in fact very irritating when it happens.

No you didn't. Not that I remember. It's been comms mostly. (Or exclusively.) Usually people are more careful with their actual flists but comms are fair game? Even if they have spoiler rules? (Is it wrong to assume that people using the internet can read?)

People are so inconsiderate when it comes to spoilers. Someone posted photos of Klaus on ONTD TVD and didn't even bother putting the photos behind a cut. I didn't want to know what he looked like. I want to be as unspoiled as possible when it comes to TVD. I went into that post and politely "bitched" at the person not to post promo pics unless they're hidden.

That's the fandom I am referring to. I think I need to stop following the comms which sucks cause the best time to participate in fandom is when the show is not on hiatus.

I was thinking about not following the comms anymore, but then they also talk about what's going on with the cast which interests me.

I ....am confused. I admit it. Then again I haven't even started watching Off the Map yet :P My bf wants to watch it though.

I'm guessing you're talking about TVD. My tumblr is going crazy with spoilers so I refuse to even check my friend page now days.

Yeah I haven't been watching the usual TVD comms on my flist and I don't go to tumblr, lately it has actually been comms here on LJ with is actually more surprising. But it looks like that "what's a spoiler?" mentality that exists over there has leaked into the previously safe LJ.

Still loving The Killing as well, lol. You're right about it getting muuuuuch more twisted (although I have a feeling that vid is possibly misleading). I love the series just being about one murder.

Also, Echols as a last name? Shout out! LOL.

I swear I thought I answered this comment the other day!

1. I don't think you see the girl's face! With the wig and everything I am thinking that it may not be Rosie at all!

2. Echols? What like Damien? (The West Memphis Three?) Or are we talking Logan? LOL.

Exactly--I'm thinking maybe it's Sterling in that video?

Hahahaha, I meant Logan. Since VM's first season was all about "Who killed Lily Kane?" and who the killer ended up being ...

Hahha, whoops! See this is how I got confused. Because Damien is an actual convict (triple-homocide, sentenced to death). And there's the whole "free the west memphis three" thing going on and most people (who can read) tend to think that he's innocent... and he was all dressed in black and the town "weirdo" and basically got convicted cause he listened to Metallica and wore combat boots... so... similar storylines, different context.

I am watching The Killing too. (Hey, we have a show in common!) I like how slow it is, where you can just watch the expressions on the actors' faces.

Or maybe it's just respect for each other's crafts.
I know I'm appreciating each of their crafts. :-)

I think what is appealing about it that usually isn't appealing to me in cop shows is the pacing of it. You get to feel this family's grief and see the investigators unraveling all of this in their expressions. Rather than them having a sudden epiphany that gets the case solved in under 45 minutes, lol. It's unique in that way and I'm totally digging it. Can't wait to watch tonight.
