The Glades: Okay, I take back what I said. I really liked this episode. Ray seems too good to be true, to be honest. But I hope they don't make their jobs easier by villainizing him later. Good episode.

The Killing: I have loved the last two episodes. This one was so great and revealy and shocking and ripe with awesome guest stars, etc. But episode eleven was really a standout for me. It was kind of a bottle episode in that it was just the two lead detectives dealing with each other in a way they really hadn't before. I actually cried twice watching this. Holder's phone call? Oh god, I was in tears. The slow build of this show is really paying off. I have a feeling we've been red herringed though. (That's a verb right?) Can't wait to see what really happens.

So You Think You Can Dance: I'm trying this show again. I have never watched a full season of this show. I watched a lot of (Season four?) the one with Katee and Joshua, and attempted to watch the one after that but kind of ended up hating it. [I also watched a bit of the last season -- with that killer Alex & Twitch routine.] I haven't decided yet whether or not I like this group enough to keep me interested. We'll see who they're all paired up with this week. I still think this show is top quality when it comes to reality competitions. First Kat Deeley is the best host ever and she deserves all the awards. Second, the judges are truly schooled in dance and really love this craft and are (generally) incredibly qualified and useful. They're not just there for snark and entertainment sake. [Well, maybe Mary Murphy and L'il C, haha.] And third, the competitors are true artists. It's not quite the same to be a passable singer as it is to be a gifted and versatile dancer. Not on this show anyway. These people have worked their asses off, many of them for their entire lives, to get to the level that they're at. And like Nigel said, the audience doesn't just vote for the guys by default. So I appreciate all of those things about this show -- and I hope that this season I can stick around and enjoy the show.

TRUE BLOOD: So the first 8 minutes are online and I think I speak for us all when I say, "What in the ever-loving fuck was that?"

awesome guest stars -- YES!! Alona Tal! Tahmoh Penikett! So many people I LOVE. Being awesome. And I really dug the last two episodes as well--I can't believe it's almost over!

For what it's worth, I'm definitely on board for this summer's So You Think You Can Dance? AKA the only reality show I'm not embarrassed to watch, lol.

I was really happy to see them both. (Which actually surprised me about Tahmoh, cause I had had just about enough of Paul boring Ballard, thanks very much.)

Right? Haha.

Aww, for me Tahmoh will always be Heloo from BSG. I watched it all in between seasons 1 and 2 of Dollhouse, and you have no idea how much good will it gave me towards the Ballard character, ROTFL.

Yeah I should probably go back and watch BSG so that I can wipe Paul from my memory. He was my least favorite part of Dollhouse.

Just watched episode 11 of the Killing this morning/last night. It was so good! I have to admit I was getting bored with who killed Rosie (until ep 12). But that ep 11 was really fine. The show is so uneven to me but I'm glad I'm still with it.

I'm off to find a link to the last ep!
