He and Joseph are terribly tan for vampires in those pics. I totally want to write a crackfic where Klaus and Stefan go to the mall to get spray tans before they massacre everyone.
But hey, Stefan's got his ring and Klaus is apparently unaffected by the sun. I realized given the nature of what a sun tan is and the fact that they have super healing powers makes it unlikely, but it totally passes anyway, right?
